An exclusive offers the story to one reporter at a time, River’s usual pick. An embargo shares it with a few reporters who agree to hold it until a set date and time, which suits bigger news.

What if I don’t know any reporters?

You likely know someone who knows them. River checks your LinkedIn, investors, advisors and mail for a friend of each reporter, and writes a short personal cold note only when there’s nobody.

What does it cost?
